Agency Description
This organization offers a variety of opportunities from working directly with Special Olympics (SO) athletes (primarily adults) to educating SO coaches in fitness and wellness topics, working with families, and developing educational and marketing media pieces. Though the SO office is based in North Little Rock, this internship is conducted locally, typically in collaboration with Life Styles in Fayetteville or Elizabeth Richardson Center in Springdale. You may be expected to complete program planning and organizational tasks in an independent work environment, but mechanisms for accountability are in place.
