Washington Regional is the only not-for-profit, community-owned and locally governed healthcare system in Northwest Arkansas. Students would be working within our training and development department; this encompasses education with a specific focus on our American Heart Association Training Center and its impact on the community. Our AHA Training center covers certifications for CPR, BLS, ACLS & PALS for our 3500 employees as well as the Northwest Arkansas Community.
Students will assist with administrative support functions with our American Heart Association Training center and its classes, which include CPR, BLS, ACLS & PALS.
- Scheduling and maintenance within the training center for both on and off campus classes.
- Assist with the implementation of a tracking system for 2-year certification renewals, for outside entities to sign up and schedule classes.
- Students will work with the marketing department in conjunction with the AHA training center on blogs and social media outlets.
- Some projects will be focused specifically on special event planning for large scale community events.

Additional Requirements
WRMC requires a background check, drug screen, TB skin test within the past year, up-to-date immunizations, and full vaccination against COVID-19.
If you are accepted at this site, Washington Regional will provide you with a list of all the documentation you will have to submit to them during the onboarding process. Make sure you allow enough time to meet these requirements prior to starting the semester.
