Birth Family Support Center and Nonprofit Adoption Agency
Mission: To serve expectant moms who want to protect their child’s future through adopting by providing support services, counseling, and victim protection to underrepresented and underserved populations of expectant moms and families.
Vision:To be the change for the adoption process by providing representation for expectant parents, transparency for the courts, and facilitating family connections between biological and adoptive families to sustain culture and connections.
Description of Intern Projects/Duties:
Work with our grants to fulfil the requirements of the grants including dental education and extraction clinics. Including creation of social media posts, day-of handouts, and support event coordination.
Work with DHS office to streamline the Medicaid and SNAP application process for clients and support staff and make sure that doctor’s offices receive numbers for bill processing. Including hosting application clinics and creating supporting social media posts and flyers.
