Washington Regional Senior Support in Action connects socially isolated seniors in Benton and Washington counties to their community through volunteer support. Since 1996, Senior Support in Action has provided non-medical services to support the health and well-being of seniors in need. Through the use of compassionate volunteers, Senior Support in Action provides individualized services at no cost to the client.
If seniors needs a little help in the home from time to time, they may benefit from these services. Volunteers with the organization drive seniors to appointments, help with grocery shopping, sit for visits, or assist with simple chores around the house.
Interns with Senior Support in Action would work on public health projects of benefit to the agency.
