Mission:
WelcomeHealth provides quality medical care, dental care, and support services in partnership with other community resources to low-income individuals regardless of their ability to pay. WelcomeHealth provides opportunities for and encourages a spirit of volunteerism and service to the community.
History:
WelcomeHealth began in 1986 as the Northwest Arkansas Free Health Center in South Fayetteville with a singular purpose: to provide consistent, quality healthcare to all residents of Northwest Arkansas.
From the start, we’ve been committed to breaking down financial and systemic barriers to ensure everyone can access the care they need. In 2015, we became WelcomeHealth, but our mission has remained unchanged—to welcome all who qualify with respect, dignity, and the best care available.
Today, WelcomeHealth continues to serve the uninsured, underinsured, and insured populations who meet our income qualifications. Whether you need medical or dental care, we are here to provide compassionate, accessible healthcare tailored to your needs.
We welcome clients to a healthier lifestyle, which leads to a happier and more productive life.
At WelcomeHealth, we’re committed to helping clients live a healthier, happier, and more productive life. If the premiums, deductibles, or out-of-pocket expenses of traditional health insurance are beyond reach, clients may qualify for affordable medical care at our clinic.
Public health interns will work on projects, which could include community outreach, social media for the clinic, assisting with helping clients connect with local resources, etc.
