About End Overdose: End Overdose is a nonprofit organization dedicated to ending drug-related overdose deaths through education, medical intervention, and public awareness. We train individuals on when and how to respond in the event of an opioid overdose. We make naloxone free and accessible nationwide with specific goals across Arkansas, with a specified focus on rural communities.


Position Summary: We are seeking passionate and driven Public Health Interns to support our outreach, education, and data-driven advocacy efforts. This is a hands-on opportunity for students or recent graduates interested in harm reduction, public health, nonprofit work, or grassroots organizing.


Responsibilities:
● Assist with planning and delivering community overdose prevention trainings
● Conduct research on local and state public health data and policy
● Support the distribution of overdose prevention and response supplies (Narcan, test strips, etc.)
● Help manage partnerships with campuses, organizations, and health agencies
● Create educational and outreach materials (flyers, infographics, social media content)
● Conduct Statewide virtual and in-person outreach (Washington County)
● Conduct research and make plans on rural health access.
